In some cultures Water Lilies are said to have the power to turn bad luck into good. This one is called Lucky Lily! I love water lilies because they just look so surreal - when you are at a lake or pond that is covered in lily pads and blooms it feels like another world.
This painting was done entirely with a palette knife and old credit card. No paintbrushes! I love all the texture in this piece.
